How the conversion works
Add 1 to the UK size for the men's US size (9.5 + 1 = 10.5), then add 1.5 for the women's US size (12).

Does this work for every brand?
This site uses one standard set of rules, so size 9.5 is a guide, not a guarantee. Brands often differ by half a size or a full size, especially between men's and women's lines. Check the maker's own chart when you can.
How do I measure my foot?
Stand on a sheet of paper, mark your heel and your longest toe, then measure the gap in centimetres. Match it to the foot length column and pick the closest size.
What if I am between sizes?
Order the larger size, unless the brand says its shoes run large. Add a thin sock allowance if you wear thick socks.
